28 Days Later

Nora and tons of other bloggers I follow took February ending as an opportunity to reflect and/or look ahead to the upcoming months. I feel like I spend a lot of time looking ahead and sometimes don’t realize just how many monumental little things happen each month that affect my personal grand scheme of things. Before I tore the sheet off of my desk calendar, I skimmed over all of my commitments, deadlines and dates for February and realized that some pretty cool shit happened. Shit worth reflecting on and remembering.

Super Bowl. Taking my first ever knitting lesson. Obnoxiously rowdy hibachi night. Annual sex toy party. Four hours crawling in traffic on the way to Boston which was only survived by (bad) singing, dancing and judging strangers with my best friend. Freezing my tits off at the Whale Bowl. One of my best and oldest friend’s baby shower. Participating in my first ever Ashtanga Yoga Primary series which benefited Connecticut families struggling with cancer bills. First anniversary of a great friend’s death immediately followed by the passing away of my sister’s boyfriend’s father. My car breaking down AGAIN right after the funeral, on my way to school, but still managing to make it there on time and kick my presentation’s ass. Being asked to run a class. Applying for grad school. Re-starting this blog. Joining Twitter. Feeling limitless love.

And now, onto March. Happy Social Work Month!!
